WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1.

Do I need a videographer if I already booked a photographer?

Short answer...YES! Please read our blog - Why Are Wedding Films Important?

2.

How many videographers will be at our wedding?

There will always be at least two videographers at your wedding.

3.

Will the filming get in the way of the wedding?

We try to be as discreet as possible. In some cases, we may provide a small amount of direction during the course of your day. However, the nature of our films is capturing you organically while we blend into the background.  This allows us to capture those special moments when its least expected.

4.

What's the difference between videographers and cinematographers?

Short answer? Nothing. Wedding videography companies sometimes use the title "Wedding cinematographer" to denote a cinematic (i.e. movie-like) style in their videos. But the reality is, most wedding videography companies strive to create cinematic films. "Videography" is simply the more widely-used term, so that's why we use it.

5.

Where are you based?

We are based in Nassau, Bahamas.  Note however, we are available to travel both domestically and internationally.

6.

Do you travel? If yes, do we have to pay for travel accommodations?

Yes, we are available for travel both domestically and internationally for weddings and engagement shoots.  Travel terms and conditions are outlined within the contractual agreement.

7.

How far should we book in advance?

We suggest that you confirm our services as soon as you have a confirmed date.  We are huge on quality over quantity, so we only film a certain number of weddings per year to maintain our GTP standards.

8.

Do you have a drone?

Yes!  Drone footage adds a unique perspective to wedding films, but please confirm your venue's drone policy before selecting this option.

9.

Can we get raw footage?

Yes! However, raw footage is very, very hard to watch. It can be 8+ hours of random clips, clips without audio, no color corrections, and no external audio synced in. In light of this, we highly recommend considering the ad-on option of an "AYMO Film Edit". With this editing style, we drag all of your raw footage we shot and place it chronologically in our editing timeline, to create one master video and deliver it to you. This edit would be delivered separately from your final Wedding Film.

10.

Can we pick our music?

Yes, you can!  Note however, that there are licensing stipulations that we must adhere to, especially if the films are being shared on social media platforms.

11.

How long will it take to get our final video?

Your digital delivery will be ready within 90 days after your event date.  You can download the video directly to your computer or laptop to keep for years to come!

12.

Do you work well with other vendors?

We pride ourselves on having an excellent rapport with every vendor we work with on your wedding day.  We all need to work together to make your day a success.

13.

Are you insured?

Local resorts require vendors upon rending a service on their property to have liability coverage. We have met their requirements and paperwork can be provided to the resort if requested.

14.

Can we meet before hand to discuss details?

We would love to meet all of our GTP couples before their big day,  and in most instances insist on it.  However, we know this isn’t always possible. In those instances, we usually recommend a phone or zoom call. We want to make sure we answer any questions you may have, that you meet the team and that you are fully confident in our ability to make your wedding film as special as it can be.  More importantly, however, we want to learn a little bit about you both. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible around us since we will be a part of your special day!

15.

How long do you need to be there?

It is best if we arrive at least one hour prior to the bride puts on her dress (if prep is included), and if we leave a half-hour after the dance floor opens. More hours can be requested up to the day of your wedding.
